Anthony Delcollo Elected to State Senate

On November 8th, 2016 Anthony Delcollo (R) was elected state senator from the 7th Senate District.  He defeated 26-year incumbent Patricia Blevins (D) in a district where Democrats outnumber Republicans two-to-one.  His vote total was a little over 9,000, which was approximately 3,000 more votes than any statewide GOP candidate received in the same district that day.  Clearly Mr. Delcollo made great inroads among Democrats and Independents.  Congratulations to our newest state senator Anthony Delcollo!

Officer Elections

At our October 26, 2015 meeting we conducted our election of region officers.  The results were as follows:

Chairman: Mr. David W. Gilefski elected to a second term

Vice-Chairman: Dr. Kenneth James elected to a second term

Treasurer: Mrs. Genie Leake elected to a first term

The vote for each candidate was unanimous.  Thank you to the many people who took the time to make the meeting and cast your vote.

13th RD Joins Our Region!!

At the 2015 State Convention a rule change to the party bylaws resulted in the transfer of the 13th RD from the Northern New Castle Region to the Western New Castle Region.  This move was requested by the 13th RD and approved by both regions concerned.  Please welcome our friends from Elsmere to our region!!

We Have Moved!!

We have moved to our new location in the Price's Corner Shopping Center.  Beginning in January 2018, we will be meeting in Suite 204, second floor of the Shopping Center, above the WSFS bank  Many, many thanks to everyone who helped us move from the Newark location.  Many hands did, in fact, make light work (sort of).  We will continue to meet on the LAST MONDAY of each month, starting at 7:00 P.M.  Please join us and bring a friend!  Lots of items to discuss and lots plans to make in this Election Year.  See you there!
